LINE DANCE CLASSES STARTING JANUARY 2022
3rd  2nd Saturday

We are excited to announce that we will be having a Line Dance social at Gold Star Ballroom

from 12:00–4:00. The cost will be $15.00. Doors will open 5 minutes before hand.

Gold Star Ballroom has a 4200 sq ft of dance floor—a floating bamboo floor. Plenty of floor space to spread out, as well as plenty of tables to sit and rest. You will be able to bring food and drink inside. There’s also a smaller dance floor off to the side if you need to practice before hand

Please—no powder on the floor, no metal on shoes!! We need to keep the floor in great shape. 

We are not requiring masks, so feel free to wear or not. We will take contact-less temperatures upon entering and have hand sanitizers on the tables.

Because of the lack of dancing for most of us over the last few months, we will have some 1 wall walk thrus on some dances. Please let me know ahead of time what you would like to walk thru so I can let everyone know ahead of time.

I am in the process of finishing up a playlist— If you are interested to see what we’re doing, please email me and I will add you to the list—letsalldance2000@gmail.com

If any beginners would like to join us, please let me know and will adjust the playlist accordingly. Right now just have improver and up dances.

Like to Contradance ?    so do we, that is why we designed the OBB weekend with lots of dancing and very short breaks.  OBB VIII will be held in Daytona Beach, FL

OBB is a "full" weekend of dancing, with 2 nationally recognized Contra Bands , a 30-piece swing band, and a waltz band.  We dance almost all the time.  We dance from Friday at 7:30, all day Saturday, and till 4:30 on Sunday

Plus 3 great callers..( BTW, we have the callers facilitating a lively dance session each time.

Workshops include:  OBB Jokefest, Stories for Adults, Song Swap, and "Cash Flow for Contradancers" (no sales) 


OBB regular features:  daily contra medleys, grid squares, dual callers sessions, and Waltz Karaoke..
